Davor Rostuhar – Džungla

Džungla
author: Davor Rostuhar

Croatian edition only

Is there still a complete, absolute wilderness on this planet? Have the thick canopies of the jungles been able to hide parts of primordial Heaven? Does the jungle hide the answers to the critical questions of the human existence? What does the wilderness never touched by man look like? What are the thoughts of the naked tree house inhabitants in the most remote jungle in the world? What is felt by a man in the jungle when his only footwear is burned to shreds, and his skin is eaten by parasites? Are there people, still today, who live in the Stone Age? Do they preserve a memory of the mythical time or archetypes? How does it feel to survive on that which you catch? What is the relation between the live myths of primordial tribes and a boy from Zagreb in the 21st century? What does the jungle smell like at night? Why do people travel? Do limits exist? What is behind them?

Answers to these and many other questions are given by Davor Rostuhar in her new, best, biggest, and the most interesting book so far.

Description

FROM THE BOOK

Janian je i dalje potiho pjevao svoju pjesmu.
